We survived

Quick Sunday evening update.

Water is back on. We ignored the Roto Rooter guy's condescending remarks about DIY plumbing, paid him a bajillion dollars for his 20 minutes of work on a Sunday afternoon, and basked in the confidence of fully functioning individual faucet water shut off valves. (Something that, as of yesterday, I couldn't have told you even existed.)

"I wonder if somewhere out there are normal mommies and daddies whose houses aren't covered in dust and toothbrushes are used in actual bathrooms instead of kitchens."
"Maybe I'll try and bust outta here!"
And her mommy thinks - OMG that foyer floor is disgusting and I keep forgetting to take down that silly door Christmas stocking.

Vanities make fun toys, ya know.
Demo of all floor and shower tile, and toilets and countertops is done done done. The pile of debris in the garage is huge. Dumpster bag is on order. Mama needs to get a move on with her final tile and flooring selections. Also needs to start choosing toilets and vanity pulls and towel bars. Painting of vanities and door frames and trim continues.

Took a break midday to enjoy the 60 degrees. Somebunny ate some melting snow,
and walked her doggie.
"This remodeling stuff is EXHAUSTING."
More tomorrow...
