Priming and weekend to do's

Bathroom vanity fixtures, check! Finally. (Ours will have white glass, not this amber colored glass.)
Vanity painting is 99% complete.
The dinged up, dull wood cleaned up really nicely, and should hopefully look even better with the new pulls and hinges. Very pleased at how they look, especially considering they will be the only "old" piece in both bathrooms.

Tried to get a pic of A this morning, but she was too speedy and wasn't having it. She was playing with a measuring tape on the floor. If she can't use her bath, might as well measure it, right?
Oh, and say hello to the first room upstairs with primer on it. The guest room:
It's definitely not finish paint, still a rough look, but man the steps to get to this point. Wallpaper, wallpaper glue, cleaning w vinegar water, patching, sanding, patching again, sanding again, dusting, cleaning one final time. Multiplied by, what, six spaces? Phew. No wonder it felt like it would never end.

This weekend is all about priming, and taking care of little details. Ordering those light fixtures, picking out toilets, ordering sinks, scheduling tile and carpet install, visiting yet another carpet store to try and find stair carpet, and taking the vanities and toilets and a bundle of other random trinkets to Habitat Restore.

Bring it on. :)
