Play room

A post-Christmas organization binge finally motivated me to put together a playroom space for the girls. We have all of this room in the basement, it's about time we start using it more regularly.
I "shopped" our existing artwork and decor - A now calls this wall "my trees."
Giant tree decal courtesy of IKEA. As are the shelves.
Lots of space to grow into. Still a bit more to do, including additional shelves on the left wall and something - a big chalkboard? magnetic board? - on the right wall, but we're thrilled to have 99% of all the kiddo stuff in this one space. It's already well used and loved. Bonus: we found a use for the cushy rose-colored carpet we had made for A's old nursery. ;) I rolled it out and the scent of our old house blew out. #sniffle
Now to address the other totally blank basement spaces...

As is typical with this house, one small-ish project checked off the list tends to add five more onto it. Down the line we will close out the fifth bedroom, remodel the bath, update the bar area, move the theatre/tv area to where the pool table is, and create a workout space. Phew!

Updates on the neglected office project coming soon!

Xoxo.
